F.A.Q.s
Frequently Asked Questions
Our family loves your Creamy Italian dressing, can we get your recipe?
Thank you very much, we really appreciate your infatuation.  Although we don't give out our
recipe, we sell our dressings by the pint in our store.

Can I have my child's birthday party at your restaurant?
Of course!  We just need a few days notice to be sure there are no conflicts.  We encourage you
to bring a Birthday cake from a local bakery, just make sure it has a kosher label on it.  The cake
must be from a Kehilla, R.C.C., or major national hashgacha.  Baskin Robbins, although kosher,
is not acceptable, because it is not Chalav Yisrael.  If you are unsure, it's best to ask us before
you order the cake.

What do you have on your menu for the diet conscious?
We have only a few healthier alternatives on our menu:  Steamed vegetables,  Grilled Salmon,
soups (excluding cream of broccoli), salad with no cheese and lite
Italian dressing, whole wheat
pizza, and a personal cheeseless pizza.

How do you get to Chick 'n Chow from here?
Take Fairfax south for 1.3 miles, turn right on Pico and travel 1.5 miles 'till 9301 Pico.

What are some of your more popular dishes?
The fiesta platter is a great ice breaker for our Mexican food, because it features four different
items from our menu.   Our homemade Mozzarella sticks is another one of our more unique
appetizers.  We recommend Fajitas, Burritos, Nachos Deluxe, and Taco Salad from our Mexican
entrees.  Eggplant Parmesan, Baked Ziti, Lasagna, Fettucini Alfredo, and our yummies are some
of the top picks from the Italian side of our menu.  If you like salad, you have to have our house
creamy
Italian dressing; people rave about it!

What is Kosher?
Kosher means fit for consumption by Jews, which originated from the Bible over 3000 years ago.
A few of the main principles of Kashrut state that the animals we may eat must have split hooves
and chew their cud (
cows, goats, sheep), fowl include chickens, turkeys, ducks,  and fish must
have fins and scales.  The animals must be slaughtered in a ritual fashion, and then salted
according to special guidelines.  One of the main premises of Kosher is that we can't eat any
meat or fowl, with any dairy products, thus you will not find any meat products at Pizza World.
